Pumpkin Spice and everything VERY NICE!
We have been in October for a whole week and have been loving every minute of it. We have tasted a few pumpkin flavored goodies and enjoyed some fall activities like the Lincoln Park Zoo Fall Fest.
The first thing I decided to do was go on a pumpkin flavored shopping spree. I hit up the usual stores, Target and World Market to find some pumpkin flavored treats or anything that had a pumpkin depicted on the packaging. I will mention now that I have not yet tried all the pumpkin goodies but will keep you posted in a blog post later this month.
October 1st 2016, Pumpkin Breakfast
I started out October with a BANG and decided to treat myself to a breakfast of all things pumpkin spice. I had served myself a bowl of Pumpkin and Flax seed granola from ALDI and decided to mix that in the Greek Chobani pumpkin spice yogurt found at Target. I was very surprised how the yogurt tasted. It was rich, creamy, delicious and perfectly flavored with real pumpkin. The Coffee Mate
Natural Bliss pumpkin spice creamer didn't impress me. I'm guessing it was expired or not properly refrigerated at Target. I'm not going to get into politics on how people should refrigerate their coffee creamer but it didn't give me that "Instant Fall Bliss" when I tasted it. Although I did go back to ALDI and picked up their Pumpkin Spice creamer.
Their Pumpkin Spice creamer will make you get "All the Autumnal Feels."
Our pumpkin haul has not been completely devoured yet because we like to enjoy the bliss of consuming pumpkin flavored treats over the course of October. In our eyes October should be renamed Pumpkin Spice.
October 2nd, Lincoln Park Zoo Fall Fest
This is a great little outing for anyone. Plus the zoo is free to get in. Lincoln Park Zoo is decked out with a corn maze, bouncy house, a corn pit to roll around in and a pumpkin patch to take your perfect fall selfie. #pumpkingoals

HAPPY 13TH BIRTHDAY PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE!!
One last thing that I would like to share with all of you is that Starbucks is celebrating the Pumpkin Spice Latte's birthday this year. PSL turns 13 this year and to celebrate Starbucks is offering its most coveted beverage with pumpkin spice whip cream to top its drink. This is only limited for this weekend only. Everyone has PSL on their mind.
